Olaplex Treatment at James Geidner Hair Studio

The in-salon Olaplex. The strongest version of the bond-builder you can get.

Olaplex repairs the disulfide bonds inside the hair shaft that get broken by color, heat, and chemical services. The take-home version is good. The stand-alone in-salon treatment is the strongest version. And it's what we use to rescue damaged hair before, during, and after color services.

We stock the full Olaplex line for at-home upkeep. Your stylist will recommend the right Olaplex products for your hair type at checkout.

Bleach, color, heat tools, and salt water all break down the bonds inside your hair. Olaplex puts those bonds back together at the molecular level. It is the difference between healthy color treated hair and the dry, broken, lifeless hair so many women living on the Treasure Coast end up fighting.

What This Service Actually Includes

Olaplex is a bond multiplier system that works on the disulfide bonds inside the hair shaft. We use the in-salon professional system, which includes a No. 1 bond builder added directly to your color formula and a No. 2 perfecting treatment applied after rinsing. For clients with serious damage, we add an Olaplex stand-alone treatment that does not involve color at all.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

If you add Olaplex to a color service, the bond builder is mixed into your color and the perfecting treatment is applied at the bowl after rinsing. As a stand-alone repair service, you will sit with the treatment on for 20 to 40 minutes depending on damage level, then we shampoo, condition, and finish with a blowout so you can see and feel the difference. Most clients notice softer, shinier, more elastic hair after a single treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Olaplex worth it for my hair?

If you color, lighten, perm, or use heat tools regularly, yes. Olaplex repairs the bonds those services break, which keeps your hair stronger and your color looking better longer.

How often should I get a salon Olaplex treatment?

We recommend the in-salon stand-alone treatment every four to six weeks for damaged hair. For color clients, we add Olaplex to almost every service automatically.

Can Olaplex fix really damaged hair?

It can repair existing damage, but it cannot reverse hair that is already broken off. The honest answer is that we will tell you what Olaplex can and cannot do for your specific hair at your consultation.

Do I still need to use Olaplex products at home?

Salon Olaplex is more concentrated than the home products, but the home line keeps the work going between visits. We will recommend the right products for your hair at checkout.

Will Olaplex change my hair color or texture?

Olaplex does not change color, lift, or deposit pigment. It only repairs the internal structure of the hair, which actually makes color hold better and look brighter.
