The short answer: Barefoot Bay is a 55-plus community of about five thousand homes in south Brevard, thirty minutes north of us on US-1. Our Barefoot Bay book is everyday maintenance rather than event-driven, and the requests we get most are gray blending, root touch-ups, and cuts that hold shape between appointments.
The Barefoot Bay pattern
Barefoot Bay residents book us because they want a stylist who is not going to push them into a service they do not want. Most of the book is standing appointments on a five- or six-week rhythm. Weekday mornings dominate the calendar, and Tuesday mornings especially fill early.
The community's demographic drives the service mix. Gray blending is the most-requested color service here. We do more gray-blending work per capita from Barefoot Bay than any other area we serve.
The US-1 drive
Thirty minutes south from Barefoot Bay through Micco and Sebastian to the studio. If you drive Barefoot Bay Boulevard out to US-1 first and go south, it is a straight shot. Season slows the Micco-to-Sebastian stretch by five minutes on some mornings.
What Barefoot Bay clients book us for
Everyday-maintenance color and cuts are the core. Full-gray coverage, salt-and-pepper blending, and low-lights on silver hair make up a large share of the color work. Precision cuts that hold shape as they grow out matter here more than trend cuts do. We plan the cut around the fact that you should look good at week five, not just week one.
Brazilian Blowout is less common in this book but shows up during the summer months for clients who want to skip daily styling.
Cost-conscious, and that is fine
A lot of Barefoot Bay clients are on a fixed retirement income and would rather book a service they can hold onto than a service they cannot repeat. We respect that. If a longer-interval service extends the time between visits, we recommend it. If a shorter service is what fits the schedule, we do that instead.
