Serving Sebastian: A Twenty-Minute Drive South From the Sebastian River
The short answer: Sebastian sits twenty minutes north of us up US-1, across the Sebastian River. Sebastian clients are usually referred to us by another Sebastian client, and they tend to book paired appointments so the drive is a shared trip.
Who we work with in Sebastian
Sebastian has a different feel than Vero. It is a working town: marine trades, small business, the Sebastian Inlet fishing community, families with roots two or three generations deep. Our Sebastian book is less seasonal than the barrier island book, and the pace is more everyday-maintenance than event-driven.
A lot of Sebastian clients came to us because they had tried the closer salons and wanted a colorist with more experience or a stylist who would push back on a bad request. That drive is real, and we do not take it for granted.
The US-1 drive from Sebastian
Roughly twenty minutes down US-1 from central Sebastian to the studio. Sebastian Highlands adds five to seven minutes on the front end. The stretch of US-1 between Roseland and Wabasso is where most of the drive time actually sits, and it slows down in season.
If you are coming from the Sebastian Inlet side, take A1A down through Wabasso Beach and cross to the mainland at the causeway. It is roughly the same time but a quieter drive.
What Sebastian clients book us for
Root touch-ups, full color, precision cuts on a regular schedule. Brazilian Blowout picks up in Sebastian every May and holds through September. Sebastian brides are usually planning outdoor Sebastian Inlet or Sebastian River area ceremonies, which means humidity, wind, and photograph-heavy days. We plan trials with all three in mind.
Paired appointments
Half of our Sebastian book comes in as pairs, usually a friend or a mother-daughter combination. Reception can hold two back-to-back chairs at the same time so the drive doubles as a lunch or errand run.
